2022 will also be an anti-fascist year. The Cgil leader, Maurizio Landini, indicated the need to "define a path that makes us arrive at the 9th of October not simply to remember what happened, but to build initiatives in the country and also in Europe that make people live in a militant way what it means to be anti-fascists today.
In short, Landini believes that 9 October should be "a day of mobilisation", "meaning going to schools, meeting young people, and putting back at the centre the fundamental values of anti-fascism, solidarity and social justice".
